Center For Non Harming Ministries

Acknowledging all of humanity, without exception.

The Center for Non-harming Ministries is dedicated to the premise that all who are called, are called to be healers, and that by working to foster healing and hope, we can and should look to the wisdom of physician healers, and their oath to “first, do no harm.” A fresh new center and a bold new vision, we engage in transformational leadership as well. We welcome you to explore the site, for:

* resources enabling you to better engage in relationship with those who are troubled, knowing that it is the sick who are most in need of a doctor.
* detailed background on various physicians’ pledges from various faith traditions, and our own pledge, stating that the person signing the pledge holds the intent to heal and serve.
* A growing directory of resources throughout the USA, and worldwide, for those looking for a safe place to worship in peace and grow in relationship to God.

On our site, a growing body of articles will chart the waters: the power held by the position of minister, the unfortunate legacy of abuse of power that must now be addressed, eMinistry, a fresh and ecumenical approach, and a rediscovery of a Celtic way of thinking, historical background, helpful hints and common misconceptions, and links to resources for ministries with interest in these areas.
